- Highly qualified teachers provide instruction on the Legacy Classical Christian Academy campus two (PreK-5) to three (6thand up) days a week. The remaining weekdays are spent at home completing reinforcement assignments and projects. Parents and/or private tutors attend valuable training workshops to help ensure quality mentoring and learning at home. In general, students spend one to two hours on at-home assignments for each hour they spend in Legacy Classical classrooms.
- Our faculty, families and staff are committed to helping our students develop a Christ-centered worldview as they engage in academically advanced curriculum. This is the essence of a classical education. We adhere to this model through a structure called the Trivium, a Latin term meaning "the three ways" or "the three roads," which form the foundation of an individuals formal education: grammar, logic and rhetoric. Grammar is the mechanics of a language; logic (or dialectic) is the mechanics of thought and analysis; rhetoric is the use of language to instruct and persuade1. In addition, we employ the progymnasmata throughout lower school and upper school instruction. The progymnasmata are preliminary writing exercises that introduce students to basic rhetorical concepts and strategies.

My grandchildren attend this school. Last year was their first year. I did not know what to make of this "hybrid" program. I didn't think you could learn as much only attending two days a week but my grandchildren proved me wrong. And their recitations (an evening where the children perform from memory scriptures and information they have been learning during the year) are excellent. The teachers are kind and considerate and were flexible with my daughter when her third baby was born during the school year. They have art and Latin classes. If you are a grandma or grandpa and you want to do something special for your grandchildren, I recommend enrolling them at LCCA, or a school like LCCA.

This school has been an answer to our prayers. Educationally speaking, it is challenging and developmentally appropriate at the same time which is something I really struggled with in public. The teachers and admin genuinely care about the students and are family-focused. I have watched all 3 of my daughters grow not only in their character and academically, but most importantly in their faith. I would 100% recommend this school!

Great school with caring administrators and loving, well prepared teachers. All of this in a Christian atmosphere.

This school has been an absolute God send to our family. From the first time I stepped foot inside the door, I was overwhelmed with the peace and presence of Jesus. The staff is serving families with love, acceptance and encouragement. I transitioned into Legacy with a son who needed help with dyslexia. The classes and teachers all work hard to tailor make an education experience for the individual needs of the students. He loves his teachers, classes and headmaster. We both look forward to our school days, and I love the university model of schooling where I am involved in his growing as a godly young man and student. It`s equally about his character as well as his education. Cannot say enough great things about this community and school!

Legacy Classical Christian school has been an incredible match for my family! My 2nd and 6th graders are having incredible social experiences, educational opportunities that combine character and learning. Furthermore I feel at peace because I know what they are learning and do not feel lost when it is time to help them prepare any assignment or test.

This is our first year with Legacy and we have experienced nothing but encouragement and support. I have a mentor mom who has been assigned to me and they have also offered training to help ease into this transition. It is so delightful to see our kids being kids, with a good quality education and without the stress of a state test.

This is a wonderful school! Solid Christian education along with time at home to continue school work and interact with family.

We love that it is plainly evident, at Legacy, that our child's character and heart are just as important as her academic successes and achievements. The studies are challenging and excellent, and she is instructed by phenomenal teachers and staff who desire to disciple her, and who care enough to partner with us, her parents, in communicating her needs, her victories, her struggles, and more. We could not be happier with what LCCA has to offer our child and our family!
