I would highly recommend Lansing Catholic High School for your son or daughter. We sent our son there after attending a Christian school for his grade school years. LCHS truly partners with parents and wants to see them succeed academically, spiritually and athletically; however, they take meeting the grades to play sports serious. Opportunities for leadership, sports and getting to know others abounds. The president of the school and fac/staff are great. Opportunities to make your child well rounded exist and is the perfect place!

Have just had my second and last child graduate from Lansing Catholic High School. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience both kids had. My oldest child was very academic-driven and took many honors and AP courses @ LCHS. Due to the AP classes at LCHS she entered a Big Ten school close to sophomore status. She in turn graduated in 2 1/2 years from college and now is enrolled in a Masters's program in Europe. LCHS prepared her well for college and provided great sports experiences along with 2 trips to Spain. The school trips to Spain were the catalyst for having her pursue a career in international affairs. Our second child was more athletic and enjoyed his experience on the cross country and track teams. The coaching he received from Tim Simpson turned him into an All-State cross country & track athlete. In his senior year, his team won a state title. More importantly, the girls and boys he was around during his running career provided a sports experience second to none! Our son also excelled academically (Suma Cuma Lauda). The most rewarding experience for me was seeing his spiritual growth during his high school career. This growth was achieved by having a great group of teachers that whom he was able to interact. In conclusion, when looking for a school to send your child I would strongly urge you to consider Lansing Catholic. The families that go there are close and the experience your child will set him/her up well for the future.

Lansing Catholic High School is an outstanding high school! Great academics with great teachers, great sports teams, all sorts of clubs and activities so that everyone is part of something outside of the classroom. Faith and service are core to this school and not only are they talked about, but they are lived out! Students and staff have the freedom to talk about and grow in their faith and discuss social justice issues freely. This school is more than just a school, it is a home; it is a family!
