- Kolbe Cathedral High School is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school in the Diocese of Bridgeport serving a multicultural, urban community. Members of the school community are expected to "Work hard and be nice." The school and family form a partnership to foster the development of young Christian men and women academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Successful completion of four years of Kolbe Cathedral produces an individual who exhibits caring for others in the spirit of Christianity, sharing of knowledge, skills and talents for the good of others, and a strength of character that dares to make a difference by living the Gospel message. Students take classes in a 4 by 4 block schedule. One credit courses run the eighteen weeks of either the fall or spring semester and half credit courses run the nine weeks of a marking period or quarter of the year. The four daily classes are each 80 minutes long. Kolbe Cathedral offers a variety of extracurriculur activities for students. Students are encouraged to participate fully in those activities that interest them.
