Founded in 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky, Holy Angels Academy was established to provide a Christ-centered education in the full range of academic subjects and the doctrine and practice of the Catholic Faith.
Holy Angels is a private, independent co-ed Catholic school with kindergarten through grade twelve.
It is recognized by the Archdiocese of Louisville and respects the proper jurisdiction of the local bishop in matters relevant to instruction in the doctrines and beliefs of the Catholic Faith.
Holy Angels Academy is dedicated to the philosophy of educating the whole person.
This involves the harmonious development of the mental, moral, and volitional powers, and the physical, emotional, and social capabilities of the students to prepare them to lead honorable and useful lives in order to attain the end for which they were created, that is, eternal happiness with God.
Teachers are chosen who are practicing Catholics professing an unswerving loyalty to all the teachings of the Church.
Each signs a document as a profession of fidelity to the above.
Teachers must meet established criteria to clearly indicate one's harmony with the academic philosophy as well as the Academy's philosophy regarding the formation of children.

I'm glad we found this school in 2016! The staff was very welcoming and the faith-based classical education is just what we were looking for! Beyond education, the school helps instill good character and respect for others while maintaining a fun learning environment. I highly recommend!

This school offers an intimate education experience with its small class sizes. The quality of education offered is superb as well as the level of faith and morality it instills in its students.
