Hero's Academy is a perfect example of a learner-driven community. From the youngest spark to the oldest launch pad learner, the Heros here is taking ownership of their journey. With that ownership and freedom comes responsibility and learners grow in proportion to the effort they invest. There is no better way to learn.

Heroes Academy seriously changed our life. When we first found Acton Academy we thought it must be too good to be true. So we paused our world travel to try out this new unconventional learning style to see if it really did fit our family priorities and if it would help our family learn the real-life lessons we were hoping to teach our children while traveling. After being part of the program for 2.5 years now I can honestly say it gets better and better. It blows me away. Our whole family has learned how to take ownership of our mistakes. We have learned that we are the only ones responsible for our growth. We have enjoyed a love of learning like never before. We have re-imagined what deep learning looks like. Our kids are pulling us out the door each day and asking us not to vacation now when school is in session. Jake has a unique gift of leading a group and inspiring all involved with a vision of what is possible. His guides are passionate about children and feel called to stand with them in this journey. Heroes Academy is one of the leading Acton Schools in the world. It thrives at learner-driven education and empowering individuals to find their strengths and give them to the world. Anyone living in the Boise area is so lucky to have this life-changing resource for their family.

Heroes Academy has been a Godsend for our kiddos. They are able to work at their own pace, but also learn to be challenged and do hard things. Failure and struggle are an important part of learning and preparing for the real world and I love that our children are in a safe place where they can learn to fail and learn to make better decisions before they leave home. I also love that Heroes Academy and Acton Academy focus so much on character and personal responsibility. It's not for all families, but I highly recommend and encourage you to explore it.
