Gardendale Christian Academy exists to educate young men and women in the arts and sciences in the context of a complete commitment to the historic Christian Faith.
Gardendale Christian Academy is a strong school with strong curriculum, but that fact does not eliminate the need for parental involvement in homework or other class requirements.
We have excellent teachers who do well in motivating children to learn; however, parental interest in their child's work is an even greater motivation.
In grades one and above, parents must sign the homework tablet.
Completed homework is a requirement for continued enrollment at GCA. Since one of the basic purposes of GCA is Christian leadership education, it is only right that Christian training has an important place in the life of the school.
Attendance is required at weekly chapel services. The purpose is to teach behavior in worship and assembly, as well as some practical truths from the Bible and Christian songs.
Daily devotions and prayer are held in each classroom. A vital part of the curriculum is Bible memorization and familiarization with Bible stories.
