Frederica Academy has exceeded my expectations at every turn. The school leadership is deeply devoted to the business of educating our children. They recognize that parents entrust their children to their care day after day, and the experiences gained in school will guide their transformation from childhood to adulthood. This gravitas trickles down into all areas of the school. The Division Leaders are selected with great care and emphasis on experience, credentials, and excellent character. These leaders, in turn, hire excellent classroom teachers with an eye for similar values. Families become generational devotees of the school. It is a lovely self-fulfilling cycle where the school continues to grow and evolve to meet the standards of best educational practices while holding on to the values and traditions that set the school apart from other independent schools in America.

Our daughter attended Frederica Academy for the 5th-grade. We had an AMAZING experience and had hoped she would graduate from there. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and we will have fond memories of Frederica Academy. The staff are exceptional (especially Mrs. Holt) they all truly care about the students. We recommend Frederica Academy and are sad to leave paradise...posted-Parent

Our children have attended Frederica Academy for the past 20 years and I couldn`t imagine a better place to watch my children be taught not only academically , but socially as well. We have a daughter that has gone on to college and is flourishing. We have three more to go and feel very blessed to have Frederica as an option in our community.

Outstanding prepatory school with high academic rigor and hands on college counseling beginning in 9th grade. School`s philosophy runs throughout all programs and enables all students to become engaged, developed and involved within our local community and reach outside to areas beyond. Personal attention to the individual learner and academic preparedness for future skills begins in middle school. Administration knows each and every child well.

Frederica Academy (K-12) offers a safe environment, excellent teachers and academics, small classroom sizes, and an arts and sports program as well. We have observed that every graduating senior goes to a good college and to name a few : scholarships to UNC, UGa, GaTech, UVa, Emory, SMU, Davidson , etc. This is a great school.

We are pleased with his experience at F.A., and look forward to sharing his journey as he approaches the graduation stage in 2019. We recommend Frederica Academy and appreciate this small college preparatory school on our island in Southeast Georgia.
