Notes for Prospective Students

We're thrilled that you are considering Flintridge Sacred Heart! OUR APPLICATION FOR TESTING POLICY As we continue to be more equitable and inclusive, we have officially adopted a test blind policy for admissions requirements starting in the 2022-23 cycle. Applicants will no longer be required to submit any standardized test scores (HSPT, ISEE, SSAT) to complete their application. 1. Start Your Application Applications for the 2022-23 school year will open on September 1, 2021. Submit your online application and essay through our portal or through the Standard Application Online (SAO). If you are having difficulties logging in or need to request your login information, please contact us. 2. Submit Your Application Fee All applicants must submit a non-refundable fee upon completion of their application.All Day & Boarding Applicants - $100 3. Request Proof of English Proficiency (International Applicants Only) Applicants for whom English is not their first language must also submit one of the following minimum scores in order to meet the English proficiency requirement for admission: Duolingo: 105 IELTS: 6.5 TOEFL: 80 4. Request Transcripts Official school transcripts must be sent to us directly from schools you have attended. After you submit your application log back into your account to download the transcript release form. Your school may submit these by email at admissions@fsha.org or mail in a physical copy to our office. 5. Request Letters of Recommendation Once your online application has been submitted, log back into your account and view My Application - Admissions Progress where you will have the option to request recommendations from your teachers in a few simple steps. Teachers will then be provided with instructions on how to complete their requested recommendations online. 6. Complete Your Admissions Interview Once the Admissions Office has received your completed application, your family will be able to request an interview time from the Interview step on your applicant checklist, found under My Application - Admissions Progress. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure that your interview can be completed by the application deadline of February 1.
