Notes for Prospective Students

Ethical Culture/Fieldston Lower (Pre-K1st Grade): Pre-K Applicants for the 2024/2025 academic year must be four years old by September 1, 2024. Kindergarten applicants for the 2024/2025 academic year must be five years old by September 1, 2024. 1st Grade applicants for the 2024/2025 academic year must be six years old by September 1, 2024. For more divisional requirements and information, click here. Fieldston Middle: Our cohort of students grows into the 6th Grade to a total enrollment of around 130 students. We anticipate 20 to 25 openings for new students to join the community at this entry point. We welcome applications for the 7th and 8th Grades, which are considered based on the number of open seats we have due to attrition. For more divisional requirements and information, click here. Fieldston Upper: Our cohort of students grows into the 9th Grade to a total enrollment of around 160 to 165 students. We anticipate 30 to 35 openings for new students to join the community at this entry point.
