The Episcopal School of Knoxville (ESK) is the ideal place for children to learn, grow, explore, and thrive! My daughter started in the youngest preschool class, and she is absolutely flourishing. The highly qualified (Masters +) teachers go above and beyond to teach and nurture my daughter, as well as give her the structure and high expectations she needs to succeed. I love that she gets to spend ample time outdoors, whether it be tending to the butterfly gardens, wading in the creek, hiking on the trails, building a fort in the woods, or navigating the adventure ropes course. I love that she is getting a strong spiritual and moral foundation with daily chapel. ESK is inclusive of ALL walks of life, and the Episcopal tradition is centered on being kind. Academically, my daughter has made leaps and bounds since starting at ESK. The community feel is amazing. We feel like we're part of one big family, walking through life together. WELL worth every penny we spend on tuition. I highly recommend this school!

The Episcopal School of Knoxville is a place that nurtures the whole child. While academics are important, it is also important to be a good human. ESK faculty and administration, along with the phenomenal culinary arts and support staff, support the well-being of kids. Consistent expectations, small class sizes, productive learning in a place "where everybody knows your name" is a HUGE BLESSING!!! ESK offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities, and students can participate in many of them. You have a chance to see what you like. Also, academic achievement has allowed my child to have access to PSAT and ACT, which gives him an overview of where he is as a learner. We are pleased with the experience at ESK, but most importantly, my child is not only challenged and held accountable, but he is also growing as a young person that has balance and consistency, and he is becoming more independent.

I have three children in the lower school at The Episcopal School of Knoxville and as a family have had an amazing experience! The teachers and the staff are extremely friendly and you can tell they really enjoy teaching at this school. They are structured and organized, yet loving, while providing a warm and consistent environment that reaches far beyond the realm of the classroom. The class sizes are small allowing an excellent student teacher ratio. Each class has a teachers assistant which are invaluable in my opinion because they can take care of the common distractions in the classrooms and allow the teachers to teach. The academics are top notch! The school grounds are beautiful as well!
