EMS has been a great fit for both our children - currently in 7th and 10th grade. They have very different personalities with different interests, but each one has been able to thrive in their friend groups, academics, and co-curricular activities like theater and athletics. As a parent, I appreciate the focus on the whole person: their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, within the structure of a strong academic environment.

I've had three very different kids attend, starting in 3rd grade, and I can't say enough good things about this place. Each of my children has been known, challenged, and genuinely cared for. They've developed a worldview, the ability to think for themselves and articulate their opinions, enjoyed an exemplary extracurricular program, and experienced challenging academics tailored to their needs. The choral, theater and athletic programs are crazy impressive for a small school and my kids were given opportunities they'd never have seen at our local public schools. I have one graduate who was accepted into a selective college and is thriving there, one who is pursuing his dream to become a chef, and another who is a current student. Each has been supported in their unique gifts and abilities, and we feel blessed to be part of this community.

EMS is amazing from K to 12! We have been so happy with this school. The only challenging part of the college admissions process was deciding which college admission offer to accept! Strong academics, diverse curriculum options, wonderful athletic experiences and an outstanding community - what more could a parent ask for? I look forward to the next generation of our family attending EMS! Go Flame Family!

EMS has been a rich learning environment for our children. Our oldest began in 5th grade, and was met with open arms and excelled academically at each grade level. Our youngest, a very different learner, was closely mentored by teachers who went out of their way to help with academic challenges. Our kids learned not only core subjects but also learned about themselves. They learned better communication skills, developed a deep appreciation for music, and grew to understand and to respect people with different ideas and backgrounds. The EMS investment in those formative and high school years was priceless!

Our daughter loves the elementary school. The school pets, playtime, and learning environment, caring teachers and community have been a refuge, especially during this pandemic. This is a truly safe and compassionate school where kindness to each other and to the world is embraced.
