Creators House, an Acton Academy, is an education model that was reinvented for the 21st century.
Our studios empower young people to live meaningful lives by providing an environment where they can discover their unique strengths, learn real world skills, and grow in good character.
We believe that every child is a genius with the potential to
change the world. Our studio environments and learning design help
students find their calling and prepare them to thrive in a rapidly
changing world. We do this by challenging them to take ownership in
their learning and to put it into practice by solving complex
real-world problems using critical thinking, creation,
collaboration, and innovation.
Creator`s Houseoffers two mixed-age studios. Our Spark
Studio serves learners ages 5-7 and our Explorer Studio serves
learners ages 7-12. We plan to grow with our learners through
highschool.
Our Spark Studio focuses on whole child development cognitive,
physical, emotional, and social with an emphasis on exploring and
discovering natural interests. In the morning we have a Montessori
environment, and in the afternoon we incorporate the best of
Reggio, Waldorf, STEAM and practical real life learning in a hands
on adventure program. Students in Spark Studio are introduced to
the goal setting and independent learning skills needed to thrive
in future studios.
Our Explorer Studio builds on students` Montessori skills while
engaging them in Projects with Purpose and Mastery based core
skills computer science, reading, writing, and math using the top
proven and challenging tech-based learning
tools.Projects focus on complex interdisciplinary
problems, ethical dilemmas, and simulations requiring deep critical
thinking, heavy collaboration, and unique creative solutions.
