The recently constructed Chesterbrook Academy can accommodate up to 180 children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old.
It will also offer after school and summer programs for school age children.
The new school's principal is LaSha Taylor, who has 15 years of teaching experience.
Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., is a national network of more than 170 nonsectarian private schools, including preschools, elementary schools and middle schools in 15 states across the country.
The new Denver location is the organization's 17th school in North Carolina.
The Denver Chesterbrook Academy will use the Nobel Learning Communities' Links to Learning preschool curriculum which offers a series of programs that prepare students for reading and math at the preschool level, as well as helping to build confidence and social skills.
The fourth graders at Chesterbrook Academy have been studying global warming and the effects it has had locally in South Florida.
Specifically, students researched issues such as salt water intrusion the invasion of fresh surface or ground water by salt water recent drought conditions, coral reef bleaching and fuel alternatives.
