I have worked with CMLC for the past 25 years in other roles I have held working with at-risk students and their families. When working in other roles, it was fascinating to see how wonderful the CMLC campus culture was. How each staff knew each child and how to work effectively with them on their personal goals. CMLC has always worked seamlessly with the community and all the stakeholders involved in a child's life, by giving students and their families the support and care they need. Recently, I have had the opportunity to be hired to work at CMLC. It is truly a wonderful place to work. The safety of all the children and adults is priority number 1. The staff-to-student ratio is stated on the site 6:1. Mostly I see the ratio as approximately 1:1. Students have so many opportunities academically and socially. Staff are extremely skilled and talented in differentiated curriculum, behavior modification, and relationship building. These qualities give our students trusted adult mentors advocating for each student individually by working on each child's personal goals. Students are able to rely on trusted adults to help navigate their academics and their social relationships. It's a great culture for students and staff! Everyone works in great rhythm with each other to provide a healthy and safe academic and social learning environment for the students and also the staff. I give this school a 5 out of 5 stars. FYI I never do reviews, but felt this school deserves to be recognized as a great environment for everyone. JCyr
