One of the best decisions my husband and I have made for our family. The teachers are loving. The curriculum is rigorous and the class sizes ensure no kids are left behind. The community at Bethlehem is an enormous blessing in our lives. The music program is amazing. My kids love art and at a young age learning about the masters. Boys and girls sports every season. Many opportunities to compete in regional Math, Spelling and writing competitions.

If you are looking for a school for your child, come visit this Bethlehem Lutheran. My husband and I toured several schools when we were sending our son to Kindergarten. Within 10 minutes of walking through the school bumping into teachers walking their kids through the hall. Looking in on classes in action and seeing the facilities, I knew it was going to be a safe, nurturing place for my child, I was right but after having been there now for 4 years and now 2 children attending, we have gotten so much more. The smaller classroom sizes and the quality of the teaching staff from ELC to 8th grade are unbelievable. A detail that really stood out to me was that within the first 2 months of my son attending school there, all of the teachers and staff knew him by name. They knew what class he was in and what teacher he had. It was such a community-centered feeling it was like "ok they all have his back, they're all watching out for him, teaching him, and knowing him by name." I see that it is noted that 80% of the teaching staff have advanced degrees, but that does not surprise me at all. These teachers are on top of their game, they love the students as if they were their own. And they hold them to really high standards because they know they are capable of it. There is a program called Chapel Buddies where the older students get paired up with a younger student, and the 8th grader with a Kindergartener, and every Wednesday for morning school-wide chapel in the sanctuary they come to the younger kids' room and spend some time with them and then walk with them down to the chapel and sit next to them for the service. You see the older kids participating and being such great examples of good character and love and excitement for their faith. And the little ones are soaking it all in and learning. Of course, there are sports (volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, track) and clubs (STEM, Drama, Choir, Spanish) and there is a GREAT library and art program. The Christmas Music Program and Arts in the Afternoon (an afternoon that combines all mediums of the student's art with an all-school choir and band performance) are highlights of the year for students, teachers, and parents. Last year all of the students K-3 were dressed as animals from the stable where Jesus was born for the Christmas Performance, the Music teacher is incredible and has been at Bethlehem for years and what she does with these students is amazing. The students participate in statewide math competitions, in the upper grades the students submit their work in several writing contests. I'm so glad we found Bethlehem, I hope you will too.
