Notes for Prospective Students

Bentley School requires families to complete an admissions application, submit 1-3 teacher recommendations, complete assessments depending on the grade of entry, and complete an interview. We encourage families to submit standardized testing results from their previous school. Moreover, entrance exam testing for independent schools is encouraged for most applicants and required for applicants applying into 2nd through 5th grades (i.e., ISEE Primary). For applicants applying to 6th through 12th grades, results from the ISEE Upper or SSAT entrance exams are welcomed. Alternatively, 6th through 12th grade applicants can complete a virtually proctored Online Writing Sample through Test Innovators.
