School Reviews

As a former director for over 11 years at Army and Navy Academy, I was able to witness firsthand how transformative the Academy can be for young men. Oftentimes, I saw boys enter lacking confidence and motivation, yet graduating with high self-esteem, good character, and a vision for their lives. Educating young men to lead lives centered on core values, teaching them leadership and management skills, and gearing education towards how boys learn best really make a huge difference. Interactive and rigorous college prep academics, championships in sports, stellar leadership training, and specialized programs set the Academy apart. Some highlights include STEAM focus, AP, and Honors Classes. ESL/ESOL, Learning Strategies (ADD, ADHD, etc), Warrior Aviation Program, and robust electives such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Game Development, ANA TV, and professionally taught Visual and Performing Arts. Boarding and day options are available at this school, so it works for local families, and regional, out-of-state, and international students. Approx. 80% of students board on campus and approx. 20% are international students. Direct access to the Pacific Ocean makes this Carlsbad school location quite special and invites boys to learn in a challenging but fun environment. Local and international trips also expand the whole experience. Graduates head off to The Ivy League, Service Academies (West Point et al.), UC campuses, and other top public and private colleges and universities.
