The Archmere promise to prepare a student for the rigorous academics of college or a university is fulfilled through the challenging academic curriculum while students are supported by a team of dedicated teachers and faculty. For the past 3 years at Archmere, I have learned to challenge myself to work harder which has led me to achieve more than I ever thought possible. Specific to Archmere, what makes the classroom a great learning environment is the desire of each student to get better every day and I know that has aided my academic growth as a high school student. The Archmere experience has not only helped me grow academically, but has introduced me to an amazing and comforting sense of community and zeal whether in the classroom or on the field.

My daughter transitioned from public school to Archmere. She has always been a good student, but was suddenly a young adult: responsible for her computer, communication with her teachers and coaches, and self-advocation. I can see that Archmere will prepare her for future success.

While my son has just recently joined this school community as a Freshman, I am so impressed by the level of commitment of the teachers, the technology program, the variety of elective classes, the quality of the sports programs, the many clubs offered but most importantly the welcoming community. From the administration to the faculty and staff we have felt overwhelmingly welcome. The community feeling is evident with the students also; already the class of 2018 feels like they have been friends forever. The admission process was smooth and efficient. I strongly recommend this school if you are looking for great academics and a nurturing environment grounded in the Catholic faith.

Archmere is well known in our area for its excellent curriculum and college placement, as well as strong athletics and award-winning programs in music and the visual arts. The size is ideal, with a fairly large student body but small individual class size, and the campus setting is a good preview of college life. The teachers and administration are highly professional, as well as responsive to parents and caring to the students. All types of students can get a top-notch education at Archmere.

Archmere Academy is not only an outstanding academic school but the teachers and administrators exude passion for their work. As a parent, I am thrilled with the school and most importantly their zeal for having every child wanting to succeed academically, socially and ethically.

Archmere is a highly academic college prep school with a strong focus on educational excellence. They are very technologically progressive. It is a Catholic school but you will find a diverse student body there. It is a rare place where it is cool to be smart. The captain of team football team can sing in the choir and that is cool too. All the students push each other to excel in their studies, athletics and the arts. The faculty is available to the students before, during and after school and in the evenings by email. My Junior and Freshman are very happy there and are getting a very strong foundation for college!

Archmere is known to be one of the best college prep schools in Delaware. It is a given that the students leave there well prepared for college. However, there is so much more to the school. It is just large enough to offer small classes for the core subjects and also offer a nice variety of extracurriculars. There is also a nice camaraderie that the kids share regarding the work load. They are all in it together which makes it more enjoyable.
