Appalachian Christian School (Closed 2006)

Appalachian Christian School desires to partner with parents and churches to provide a quality Christian education and to embrace a Christian worldview.
Our school will be committed to a Christian worldview; have a deep foundation based on the perfect truth of the Holy Bible; and help churches and parents understand and value Christian education.
Because of its small size, ACS is able to maintain high academic and social standards for the students.
As part of our social standards, we regularly help teach students a respect for parental and non-parental authority.
We also help foster in the student a love for family, respect for others, and integrity in relationships, including relationships within the church.
Academically, we consistently see that students who apply themselves maintain an overall accelerated level of achievement.
This is evidenced by achievement test scores and students' level of academic performance once they leave ACS and enter the public school system in high school.
