Pressman Academy is not just a school. It`s a community dedicated to raising creative and critical thinkers who are self aware and self assured, who are mensches, and who understand it is their obligation to leave our world better than they found it.
We engage students in a rich academic program in both General and Judaic Studies that prepares them for high school and positions them for ethical leadership; in deeply-rooted Jewish practice that enriches their souls and links them to our tradition; in Tikkun Olam programming and community partnerships that bring our students into the world, and in social-emotional curricula that teach self-regulation, resilience, and life skills.

The Pressman Academy is a learning community in which educational innovation and excellence among students, faculty, and parents are actively encouraged. My daughter is currently in 2nd grade and is thriving. She went to the ECC and Kindergarten before leaving to follow her older siblings to attend a secular private school in Los Angeles. For 2 years, my daughter begged to go back to Pressman Academy. Fortunately, my husband and I listened to her and brought her back to Pressman this year. The education is top-notch, focusing on academics as well as the social and emotional well-being of each individual student. I cannot be happier watching my daughter's soul being enriched by this exceptional school.

We started at the school when my child was two, and we knew nobody, having not grown up in the area. Six years in and I can say that the school community is our family. My kids are thriving and feel so loved and safe. The school prides itself on teaching the whole child, imparting tools for wellness in addition to academic excellence. Communication between staff/admin/teachers and families is transparent and always a two-way street. Besides traditional courses, the specialties are outstanding: STEAM, art, music, movement, athletics, Hebrew. And the offerings of after-school activities is varied and excellent. Best of all, my kids are happy.
