Friends Academy has been our school and social community for 9 years and gets better each year. We are so happy to send our three children to an institution that values the partnership between parent and school to educate a child.

Sending our daughter to Friends Academy was the best decision we ever made. It has a very strong curriculum and creates a wonderful environment for learning. We love the sense of community we feel at Friends and have embraced the Quaker values. When the school closed last year due to COVID-19, Friends Academy immediately began virtual classes. I had the pleasure of listening in on some of my daughter's classes and was so impressed. We have always appreciated our teachers, but they have gone above and beyond during this difficult time. We feel so grateful to be part of this community.

My son graduated after a very successful 6 years from Friends Academy. His college process was seamless and very professional. The college office at FA did all they could to support him. He was given the opportunity during his 6 years to participate in sports, theater, and Trivia club. My daughter is currently matriculated in the school and they were on the ball as soon as school turned virtual in March, they did not skip a beat.

My children love this school. They've made wonderful friends in the community, and I've always felt the teachers and administrators have supported their individual learning styles and interests. The school has done an excellent job with its safety measures and I've feel comfortable sending them back to school.

All categories have a rising Kindergartener, who finished his first year at Friends in Pre-K. As a parent, and an educational professional, I personally could not have designed a better experience for my son, especially during the COVID-related shut down. We initially chose Friends for our son because we wanted more for him; we wanted him to learn through experience, to develop thoughts of his own and more importantly to be part of a community that subscribed to similar values as ours. Our son's first year was FANTASTIC! Notably, while everyone was scrambling to figure things out when the State shut down, our son was being educated and supported in a way that was developmentally appropriate, fun and responsive. The transition to virtual school was so seamless, that it seemed like it was planned for (it might have been). More importantly, the teachers were open and responsive to feedback, and continued to tweak the new modality regularly. We are looking forward to many more years at Friends! Parent22 days agoOverall ExperienceReportStart Your Review of Friends Academy like many parents looking into private school, we did our research, spoke with parents from the schools we were considering and visited the schools multiple times. At the end of the day, we felt strongly that Friends Academy was the best fit for our son (who was entering 9th grade), both from an academic and social perspective. That was one year ago and I can honestly say that it was one of our best parenting decisions thus far! We have been so pleased with the individual attention our son has received from teachers, to coaches & administrators. Additionally, while we choose Friends because we felt it was the best school for our son, we have been so impressed with how welcoming the Friends community has been to us as a family. We have also been very pleased with their academic response to the challenges posed by the COVID 19 pandemic. We have two younger children who attend public school and have every intention of sending them to Friends in the next year or so as well.Parent21 days agoOverall ExperienceReportI have two children at Friends Academy who transferred in 7th grade, and 2nd grade. Since joining the school they have just thrived academically, personally, and socially. Students are challenged and cared for and encouraged to express themselves through their work both inside and out of the classroom. The culture of the school is absolutely amazing, and everyone feels welcomed. The staff is awesome and the curriculum is phenomenal! The classroom sizes are perfect, and students and eager to learn.

My kids LOVE attending Friends Academy. Excellent teachers, a strong arts program, and great enrichment opportunities make their education robust and enjoyable. The teachers really take the time to get to know each child individually, and to use that knowledge to help the students maximize their potential.

My family came to Friends Academy when my son was starting Middle School. Once our journey began, we never looked back. Attention is given to every detail. Teachers and staff are always available, invested, and genuinely care. Morals and values are built into the foundation of life here. Enriching academics are the icing on the cake!

An amazing school for academics, but it is so much more. Athletics, Arts, Robotics, STEM, Clubs, and a beautiful campus. And the teachers are incredible and form wonderful relationships with their students.
