- What helps students grow-and thrive?
- Historically, schools existed to give students a basic education: math, reading, writing, science, and history. The fine arts were added, as well as extracurriculars like athletics and clubs. In more recent years, high schools developed into college-preparatory institutions.
- But at Evergreen we have known that academics and extracurriculars are not enough. Our students need to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually, too. They need to be challenged and supported individually, with care and concern for their unique needs and gifts.
- Evergreen Lutheran High School exists to help each student thrive in ways that go beyond traditional academics by providing a Christian foundation, uncommon connection, and an Evergreen mindset.

- A Christian Foundation. Evergreen's mission is to help students build a Christian foundation for life. This mission is shared by all faculty and staff members, who connect students to God's grace and truth dailyin classes and in the hallways, on the basketball court and in chapel. I believe the sports offered at Evergreen is pretty good, making it easy for students to play multiple sports. The small number of students makes the atmosphere feel like a family.
