Notes for Prospective Students

Admission Process: Stellar Academy for Dyslexics has continuous admissions with no specific application deadline date. Applicants are processed based on space availability and put on a waiting list if needed. Admissions Procedures: 1. Submit a copy of all previous testing: psycho-educational assessment including tests of achievement and cognitive (I.Q.) assessment, Slingerland Screening, and any other testing done. 2. A parent interview with the Head of School 3. A Slingerland Screening (if not already given) this is required of all students. 4. Complete admissions application and all other forms and submit to school office. 5. Attend at least 1 Shadow Day 6. Sign and return student contract to school office with registration fee. 6. Attend Summer Camp or receive a minimum of 10 hours of Slingerland tutoring.
