Notes for Prospective Students

It is suggested that applications for all grades be submitted by December 16, 2019. Other admissions materials are due January 1, 2020 for grades Pre-K and Kindergarten and by January 17, 2020 for grades 1 - 5. Readiness activity sessions for Pre-K and K are held in January and families can register for these beginning November 1. Admissions testing for first and second grade is by appointment. Admissions testing for grades 3 - 4 is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2020. Applicants for fifth grade take the ISEE exam at Shady Side's Middle School on Saturday, December 14, 2019 or Saturday, February 1, 2020.
