I always say that Dayspring has been a godsend for us. My daughter has been in private school, public school, and homeschool, but with Dayspring we finally found the right fit. The hybrid model allows her the chance to socialize and get instruction from great teachers twice a week and work from home at her own pace, with as much or as little help as she needs from me, twice a week. On Fridays, she has chosen a variety of enrichment classes, from art to dance to acting, and it has really helped her discover what she enjoys. Her performing arts classes have given her opportunities to confidently be on stage, and I love that she can take these classes right here in the same place where she goes to school. There is so much communication from the school, both from administration and from the teachers; I have always felt very welcome to reach out, and my concerns are always addressed. Miss Alicia, the academy administrator, is always visible in the building and seems to know all the parents by name. The school is small and really has a community feel. I not only know all the kids in my daughter's class, but their parents and often their siblings as well. Dayspring offers a safe & supportive environment, with "Christian values" at its core while being welcoming to all faiths. (Our family does not identify as Christian, and it has never been a problem.) We are so glad that we finally found the right school for our daughter!

I love this school because the community is great, and everyone is nice to each other. I wish the outdoor playground had swings, and that the academic teachers had a little bit more experience teaching. Overall, this school is great!

I love that Dayspring has small classes so teachers get to know the students. I enjoy being part of their educational experience so we can dig deeper into areas they are interested in while we are at home. I appreciate knowing what topics they are studying so I can connect what we are learning to all parts of our lives. I enjoy learning right along with the kids.

My children have been enrolled at DaySpring for several years and we love the university model. It allows my children to have a classroom experience with professional teachers and peers while still getting down time at home and the opportunity to work independently. My children have become so much more responsible and agile with time management. Our lives are not ruled by night/weekend homework. DaySpring is also unique in that classrooms are mixed age and children can have the same teacher for 2 or more years, so they really grow in relationships. I love that families can tailor enrichment classes for their K-8 students. The kids and families at DaySpring are kind and down to earth, and my middle school and high school students report positive social experiences. If you want to be involved in your child's education, this is the school for you!
